Lost and Found Office of the Isle of Dogs

Taking inspiration from The Mole Man of Hackney’s subterranean proclivities, the Lost and Found Office of the Isle of Dogs is a repository and sanctuary for lost and obsolete industries and activities. The ‘museum’ houses a boat-making workshop, an old cosy dining room, a DVD rental shop cum projection room and many more.

In the digital age, these phenomena are constantly rendered extinct and the Lost and Found Office aims to preserve these activities with the modular nature of pods and the floating circulation/gallery spaces. Programmes spill out into the gallery spaces, giving visitors the freedom to partake or be an observer of these lost and found activities.
